I need Twitter Ideas

Hey Everyone, I was recently encouraged to join Twitter. I am not quite sure how it works and what to talk (tweet) about. Do I just keep telling everyone what I am doing at that point in the day? I am hearing how this can help with business, but I need to understand better. Any "Tweeple" out there to help me?

What's It Take To Be #1? Push-Everance!

I recently attended the 2008 Top 200 Real Estate Professionals Gala held at the Orlando, Florida Ritz Carlton Hotel on November 6th. The event was jointly hosted by Real Trends, Lore Magazine, and The Wall Street Journal. If I had to describe the event, it would be something like the Emmy Awards for Real Estate. Awards were broken down by Top Teams by Volume, Top Teams by Sides, Top Individuals by Sides, & Top Individuals By Volume. The event honored each Real Estate Professional with their sales achievement.

Looking at the success of these individuals, I began wondering what it takes to be #1? According to Creig Northrop, whose Northrop Team operates under Long and Foster, the key is "PUSH - Everance!"

"In times like these you need to PUSH through it," he said in a recent article from the LORE Magazine as well as on stage at the Gala. Through individual goal setting, the Northrop Team is the top ranked in Maryland, ranked #2 in the nation for team sales volume, and #3 in the nation for team transactions.

It is too easy to get caught up in the media and the market. You can no longer just wait around for the Buyers or Sellers to come to you. You have to want it bad enough,  and perseverance is key...or "PUSH-EVERANCE!," as Creig would say.

I am inspired by Creig and his team. You can learn more about him and the #1 online resource for buying and selling in Maryland by visiting www.Northropteam.com.

'How to Come Back from the Dead"

Special Event:  "How to Come Back From The Dead", A tele-seminar with Kim Ades and Michael Combs this Friday, September 26th, 12pm EST.

When I saw Kim at the RISmedia conference 2 weeks ago we talked about the success of the previous tele-seminars  on "Frame of Mind" we teamed up on back in the Summer. I continued to share with Kim the need in the marketplace to get real estate professionals motivated and get out there to create positive change - in both Business and personal lives. When Kim shared the story of Michael, and his near death experience, I knew this tele-event would be perfect. During the tele-seminar,  learn the 3 major lessons Michael learned through his personal experience. If you are interested in participating, please CLICK HERE to register.

Best Practices for Sales is focus of Real Trends Conference - 9/24 - 9/26

I am excited about next week's Real Trends Tech conference and expo. The title - "Best Practices"  - fits with the needs of today's market place. I have met so many Brokers and Real Estate Professionals this year who evaluating their own best practices for the sole purpose of driving results and looking for the creative ways to drive revenue. These results can be focused from a company's standpoint of cutting cost, and recruiting/retaining agents by providing the necessary tools to compete in the market place. For Real Estate Professionals, its getting more listings, evaluating and quantifying online and offline techniques, and driving home sales.

If you will be traveling to the Real Trend's Conference in Denver, CO next week, I will be speaking on Thursday, September 25th  on "Best Practices for Generating Website Sales" from 3:30pm to 5pm. If you are not traveling to Denver, CO next week, and would like more information on follow-up webinars and seminars, please click here. For more information on Jonathan Blood, please visit www.jblood.com or visit www.deltagroup.com
